Florence Nursing Home is Registered for 30 clients we accommodate for the older person or Frail categories who may suffer from dementia or mental health illness. Our loyal team of staff are fully qualified and well experienced in the level of care and nursing that is expected at Florence Nursing Home.
Arranged over 2 floors and serviced by a passenger lift , Home is made up of a variety of bedrooms- some with en-suite facilities.
All of our rooms are well furnished and comfortable with the majority of our rooms providing larger than standard accommodation. We encourage residents to personalize their rooms to help make them as comfortable as possible.
Each of the rooms are provided with flat screen TV’s and all are fitted with a telephone allowing residents to keep in touch with friends and relatives at any time.
Our excellence in care has been recognised by the Gold Standard Framework. The GSF was developed in 2016 as a benchmark initiative to promote excellence for palliative care patients.

All the bedrooms have adjustable profiling beds ensuring comfort and support for our residents. Each includes a Nurse Call bell system and flat screen televisions. Wet rooms also feature, along with large windows overlooking the garden and the street view.
We do all our residents’ laundry in-house. Our dedicated housekeeping staff ensure that the home is kept clean, tidy and odour free at all times.
With a fully equipped kitchen our catering team has the tools and expertise to provide nourishing tasty food for all needs and requirements. We proudly hold 5 stars in the Food Hygiene Ratings and this is reflected in the pride our kitchen staff take in their work.
Our residents committee help uphold our ethos and values that bind up as a family. Residents are encouraged to become part of the decision-making process and have a say in elements that affect their daily life in the home. At Florence we believe everyone should be given a voice.
